It aims to support 1,400 businesses and for those businesses to create and safeguard more than 20,000 jobs. It provides flexible funding at all business stages with funding available from £1,000 to £5 million, over periods of up to ten years.

Swansea Innovations Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary company of the University that manages the commercialisation of technology. It has extensive business experience and has worked closely with a number of external stakeholders including venture capitalists, angel investors and financing organisations to spin out a number of successful companies and to license technologies to both large corporations and SMEs.
